Classical WNIU invites you to experience live music and dance with a few twists and turns as the Rockford Dance Company presents "Bold Moves" at the Coronado Performing Arts Center on April 13th. Hip-hop group "Fatally Unique" and Rockford Dance Company ballerinas battle to Stravinsky's explosive "Rite of Spring," challenging perceptions of diversity, rituals, and customs in contemporary society. The whimsical "Carnival of Animals" involves the Music Academy of Rockford in a fun-filled dance premiere. Finally, see the American pioneer spirit brought to life through the power of dance in Copland's "Appalachian Spring."
